An opportunity exists for Trainee Instrumentation Programmer reporting to the Instrumentation Engineer and will be based at ERGO. The position exists to provide instrumentation maintenance/modifications to the plant in order to ensure that production, efficiency SHEQ and legal requirements are met
Job description
The title is Instrumentation Technician. This single-position class performs specialized technical work in maintaining hardware and software related to various instrumentation, control systems, and OT-related networks. Responsibilities include performing a routine to complex process controls, instrumentation, maintenance, OT networking, and repair operations in the mine.
Minimum requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 5 Years relevant experience in the Mining ,Chemical or Manufacturing.
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Three- year National Diploma Instrumentation/ Relevant Trade Test Certificate/ Bachelor of Engineering Technology
- A mobile telephone to be contactable when required
- Own transport
